Yep, MRD needs money. Renting practice space, reserving venues for bouts and tournaments, paying membership fees, replacing equipment, traveling — roller derby is a rewarding sport, but also an expensive one. Without a predictable, regulation-sized, and affordable space to skate, we have a hard time planning home bouts and other events. BUT! With a little financial cushion, we believe we can stabilize membership in 2025-2026, plan public events, and purchase new merchandise to sell to our fans.
